Every wooden brush is cut, dried, shaped, sanded, and sealed before pins or bristles are set.
Beech and bamboo
Light, even-grained, and durable: the most common woods for paddle and cushion brushes. Bamboo grows fast and suits sustainable lines.
Sandalwood and dark woods
Denser woods with a natural scent or deeper color, often used for combs and gift ranges.
Finishes
Natural oil, wax, clear lacquer, or colored lacquer. Logos are laser engraved or hot stamped.

How to Choose a Wooden Hair Brush for Your Range
Match the wood to the price point
Beech and bamboo suit everyday ranges with a natural look. Walnut and other darker hardwoods give a richer color for gift and boutique lines. Ask for samples of two or three woods, because grain and tone vary more than photos show.
Choose pins for the hair type
Wooden pins with rounded tips massage the scalp and suit thick hair. Boar bristle smooths and adds shine to fine and medium hair. Mixed boar and nylon tufts work through thicker hair while still polishing the surface.
Decide on the finish
Oil and wax keep the natural feel of the wood. Clear lacquer gives more protection against water and is easier to clean. Black or colored lacquer hides grain variation and gives a more uniform look across a large order.
Plan certification early
If the range will carry an FSC claim, specify FSC-certified wood in the inquiry so material and chain-of-custody documents are prepared from the start. Adding it after the sample is approved can delay the order.

The standard MOQ is 500 pieces per style. Existing designs can be changed in wood, finish, pins, logo, and packaging at that minimum.

Wood is dried to a controlled moisture content before machining, then sanded and sealed with oil, wax, or lacquer. Finished brushes are checked for cracks, burrs, and loose pins.
